“液晶材料是液晶显示面板三大主材之一，但是全球85%以上技术市场被国外少数企业所垄断，所以我们就急需打破国外厂商的产品垄断，实现液晶材料自主知识产权。”我说。
从全球来看，主要液晶材料供应商包括德国默克、日本JNC、日本DIC、八亿时空、江苏和成和成志永华六家，其中后三家是国产液晶厂商。在liquid crystal panel industry向中国转移趋势下，国产liquid crystal factory迎来了良好的市场机遇。
对于liquid crystal materials market present situation，我抱有信心：“随着面板销售价格的走低，未来三年，中国 liquid crystal panel 产能将超过全球产能的一半，liquid crystal materials 采购必然转向质优价廉的国产厂商。”

如何breakthrough technical barriers between production enterprises of Liquid Crystal Materials? I say that in high-end product fields, there is still a certain gap with foreign counterparts. To solve this problem, we need to invest more in R&D and build first-class hardware platforms. We also need to focus on talent introduction and team construction. Eight billion has already hired more international experts as senior experts or consultants through the establishment of an internationalized research team to achieve overtaking by taking the detour and follow up the pace of advanced international levels.
Eight billion is committed to developing fine chemicals for centuries. In assisting industries transformation and upgrading, there are still several difficulties: one is the lack of technology and talent; two is insufficient support for projects; three is instability caused by practical problems affecting talents' stability.
To overcome difficult points, I believe we should increase R&D investment and build first-class hardware platforms while paying attention to talent introduction and team construction. By building an internationally-oriented research team, we can implement overtaking by taking the detour and quickly catch up with the advanced level of international development.
In terms of cultivating high-tech industries, I emphasize that product R&D process often relies on government policy support for nurturing breakthroughs such as "lack-chip-short-screen" key industries have played a role like snow sending charcoal during winter season provided by Beijing Municipal Science Commission green channel project technological innovation topic etc..
