在接受新华网记者专访时，我表示：“不断创新，以长远的眼光看待行业发展，一刻不松懈地走在科技发展的前端！”作为北京八亿时空液晶科技股份有限公司董事长，我的公司实现了液晶材料的专利突破，真正意义上实现了液晶材料的国产化，目前国内市场份额约占20%。我强调，“液晶材料是液晶显示面板三大主材之一，但是全球85%以上技术市场被国外少数企业所垄断，所以我们就急需打破国外厂商的产品垄断，实现液晶材料自主知识产权。”从全球来看，主要液晶材料供应商包括德国默克、日本JNC、日本DIC、八亿时空、江苏和成和成志永华六家，其中后三家是国产液晶厂商。在liquid crystal panel产业向中国转移趋势下，国产liquid crystal factory迎来了良好的市场机遇。
对于liquid crystal materials' market present situation, I am full of confidence: “随着面板销售价格的走低，未来三年，中国liquid crystal panel产能将超过全球产能的一半，liquid crystal materials采购必然转向质优价廉的国产厂商。” 近五年，是domestic liquid crystal快速发展的五年。“目前，无论是正性liquid crystal materials还是负性liquid crystal materials均已解决了国外专利垄断，无论是性能还是品质，开发的混合Liquid Crystal Product其性能指标基本达到国际先进水平。”我说，从panel factory实际使用情况看, domestic Liquid Crystal经过几年的磨合, 已经解决了主要技术问题, 虽然Liquid Crystal sales volume越来越大，但客户端使用依然稳定，没有发生因Liquid Crystal quality问题带来的客户投诉。
谈及公司's core advantage, I said that my company is the first to break through foreign technology monopoly in the mixed-crystal material industry. We have applied for 219 national invention patents and 36 international patents and been granted 83 patents. We have also drafted two national standards: "Ordinary Single-Component Liquid Crystals" and "TFT Single-Component Liquid Crystals". One of them has been officially promulgated.
How to break through the technical barriers faced by liquid-crystal-material production enterprises? I said that there are still certain gaps between China and foreign counterparts in high-end products. Especially for new products and technologies, China is still in a following-up stage. To solve this problem requires efforts from multiple aspects. Firstly, we need to increase R&D investment and build a world-class hardware platform. Secondly, we should focus on talent introduction and team construction. My company has already begun hiring more international experts as senior consultants or advisors to help us construct an internationally-oriented R&D team so as to overtake the international advanced level.
As for how to overcome difficulties in supporting industries transformation & upgrading phase ,I think we should add more research input ,build a first-rate hardware platform while emphasizing talents introduction & team building . Through constructing an internationally-oriented R&D team ,we can achieve overtaking speed ahead of time ,quickly catching up with the pace of international advanced levels .
In terms of cultivating high-tech industries ,I emphasize that product development & industrialization process often relies on policy support for scientific innovation such as Beijing Municipal Commission of Science & Technology's green channel project etc., which provide great support towards breaking through "lack-of-chips-lack-of-screens" problems in developing high-tech industries .
He hopes continue strengthen supports on tablet computer industry especially key material&equipment localization efforts will help accelerate progress towards making more critical components domestically produced." As he puts it," Just like enterprise's 'mission', what country needs is exactly what our enterprise must do!"
