在接受新华网记者专访时，我表示：“不断创新，以长远的眼光看待行业发展，一刻不松懈地走在科技发展的前端！”作为北京八亿时空液晶科技股份有限公司董事长，我的公司实现了液晶材料的专利突破，真正意义上实现了液晶材料的国产化，目前国内市场份额约占20%。我强调，“液晶材料是液晶显示面板三大主材之一，但是全球85%以上技术市场被国外少数企业所垄断，所以我们就急需打破国外厂商的产品垄断，实现液晶材料自主知识产权。”从全球来看，主要液晶材料供应商包括德国默克、日本JNC、日本DIC、八亿时空、江苏和成和成志永华六家，其中后三家是国产液晶厂商。在liquid crystal panel产业向中国转移趋势下，国产liquid crystal factory迎来了良好的市场机遇。

谈及公司's core advantage, I said that my company is the first to break through foreign technology monopoly in the mixed-crystal material industry. We have applied for 219 national invention patents and 36 international patents and been granted 83 patents. We have also drafted two national standards: "Ordinary Single-Component Liquid Crystals" and "TFT Single-Component Liquid Crystals". One of them has been officially promulgated.
How to break through the technical barriers faced by liquid-crystal-material production enterprises? I said that there are still certain gaps between China and foreign counterparts in high-end products. Especially for new products and technologies, China is still in a following-up stage. To solve this problem needs to be addressed from multiple angles. First of all, we need to increase research investment to build top-level hardware platforms; secondly, we should pay attention to talent introduction and team construction; eight billion has already begun hiring more international experts as senior experts or consultants.
Through building an internationalized R&D team, we can achieve a detour overtaking step towards catching up with the advanced level of international peers. My company is positioned as a precision material enterprise aiming at lasting for centuries in the field of flat-panel industry materials development.
Regarding how to address difficulties such as technology gaps and unstable personnel due to practical problems during industrial transformation upgrades support policies need improvement on industrial land allocation support policy etc., I believe it should be strengthened research investment coupled with hard platform establishment meanwhile emphasizes talent recruitment & team-building process via constructing an internationally-oriented R&D team achieves bypass overtaking steps toward quickening pace with global forefront levels.
