在接受新华网记者专访时，我，赵雷，表示“不断创新，以长远的眼光看待行业发展，一刻不松懈地走在科技发展的前端！”作为北京八亿时空液晶科技股份有限公司董事长，我带领公司实现了液晶材料的专利突破，真正意义上实现了液晶材料的国产化。目前国内市场份额约占20%。
我说：“液晶材料是液晶显示面板三大主材之一，但是全球85%以上技术市场被国外少数企业所垄断，所以我们就急需打破国外厂商的产品垄断，实现液晶材料自主知识产权。”
从全球来看，主要液晶材料供应商包括德国默克、日本JNC、日本DIC、八亿时空、江苏和成和成志永华六家，其中后三家是国产liquid crystal factory。在liquid crystal panel industry向中国转移趋势下，国产liquid crystal factory迎来了良好的市场机遇。
